Collaboration between COB, Deltares, TU Delft and TNO Bouw en Ondergrond is continued

During the Delft Cluster work conference held on 30 October in Delft, the COB, Deltares, TU Delft and TNO Bouw en Ondergrond signed a Memorandum of Understanding. In doing so, they plan to ensure the continuation of practical and fundamental research in the field of underground construction and underground use of space. By making use of space both above and below ground, added value can be created for sustainable and integrated use of space. The essence of this collaboration is that different parties and initiatives are linked together long term. The ambition is to jointly give substance to a strategic collaboration agreement before the end of 2010, in which programming between applied practical research that focuses on the short-term and long-term fundamental research is carried out at the implementation level.
