Social output is manifest via a number of aspects:
- increasing sustainable development of our delta
- improving the safety of our delta regions
- increasing the standard of living in the delta areas
- increasing the return on social investments.
These concepts are described in greater detail in the key themes and projects (sustainability, for example, is given concrete form in key theme 2 in low-maintenance infrastructure). One additional question that has been raised is to begin quantifying the improvement that can achieved. Progress on these aspects will be monitored via an external social audit carried out every two years.

Key themes and projects must be able to quantify the achieved results by means of these audits, and to project them into relevant social projects such as the North-South line.
In addition, a joint meeting (‘the SRH top”) is held once a year, with policy makers and the top of the SRH sectors and a selection of Young Professionals. The aim is to bring together social developments, policy, and the market.
