Scientific output

Dissertations

Approximately 50 doctorate research projects are carried out within the six key themes. During the course of these research projects, articles are published in international scientific journals, and the results are presented at national and international congresses and are published in their proceedings. The end result is presented as a dissertation.

AIO's

To promote cohesion and cooperation, AIO days are organised during the course of the projects. At the end of this year another AIO day will be organized. Click here to view an overview of the AIOs.

Publications

Publications in accredited peer-reviewed international scientific journals and chapters in scientific books are important milestones.

Congresses

Two international congresses will be organised in 2008 in cooperation with a variety of organisations. The first will take place under the umbrella of the Underground Construction Consortium (a formal collaboration between Delft Cluster and COB). The theme of the second international congress will be safety against flooding.

Professors

Twelve TU-Delft professors are involved in the Delft Cluster programme, together with three from UNESCO- IHE, one from WUR, one from Ghent University, one from Utrecht University, and one from Amsterdam’s VU University. Their membership of doctorate committees will lead to more professors becoming involved in the DC network.
