Menyanthes

Menyanthes enables the user to start working with these data in a fast and convenient way. Menyanthes offers tools to 'browse' through extensive datasets, screen the data for possible errors and correct them, and analyse the groundwater regime on its statistical properties. Next to that, Menyanthes is especially suited for analysing groundwater level series using time series analysis methods.

When creating a time series model of a groundwater level series,  possible series of explanatory variables include precipitation and evaporation, groundwater withdrawal, surface water levels, hydrological interventions, several kinds of trends, etc. If necessary, Menyanthes can do all sorts of data-manipulations, like resampling or interpolation operations to make the data equidistant for Box-Jenkins models.
The models are stored in the internal database of the program, so that they can be easily used for e.g. simulation, spatial analysis, or can be compared with respect to their respons functions and/or statistical properties.
